• Islam - 1 billion - Allah is war-mongering God waging war against impure infidels
• Hinduism - 800 million - Polytheist or many Gods
• Buddhism - 350 million - No God, only metaphysical energy called Karma. Body is conduit

Second-rank religions (less than 200 million followers)

• Taoism - 15 million - Highly influenced by Buddhism, metaphysical Tao
• Shinto - 2 million - Many gods called Kami, liked Animism - main goddess is Amaterasu
• Jainism - 3 million - Pacifist ideology based on Karma like beliefs
• Judaism - 14 million - Jewish Abrahamic faith following God YaHWeH and Talmud.
• Sikhism - 20 million - Monotheistic God with Hindu and Muslim elements
• Animism - Ancient Paleolithic religion based on Pantheism

New Religions (less than 300 years old, incl. revivals of older faiths) and Syncretic Religions

• Baha'i faith - 6 million - Islam-derived monotheistic
• East Asian syncretic religions - 10 million - Mix of Buddhist, Taoist and Confucian
• Western Neopaganism - 300,000 - New Age Pantheistic nature energy worship
• African diaspora syncretic religions - 75 million - Congo/Angolan with Roman Catholic beliefs
